Carrier Checker Discontinued

In 2018 I launched the Carrier Checker. This tool allowed you to lookup a mobile number in Australia and determine the current carrier and the original carrier in cases where the number was ported. The carrier checker was designed for casual usage. Unfortunately, due to a surge in automated requests to the API backend this tool has been discontinued permanently.

ADSL Checker Discontinued

n July 2003 I launched the ADSL Checker Utility. This tool allowed you to enter a phone number in Australia and see the phone number, exchange the number is on, and if ADSL is available. With the proliferation of the National Broadband Network (NBN) the traffic that this utility receives is now negligible and for that reason I have made

This year marks 20 years since I moved away from various free web hosting services that I was using (such as Geocities and Hypermart) and established a permanent personal web site. Over the years I have lost a substantial amount of content as other social media sites have closed down, and have decided that 2020 will be the year where I adopt a POSSE approach to my content and publish here first.

Putty Road is a 168km road that runs from Wilberforce in Sydney’s North West up to Singleton in the Hunter Valley. It only just re-opened after the NSW fires, so I decided to go for a ride to support Grey Gum and survey the damage.
