September 14 Update

Today I changed some of the site backend to make the Journal code more efficient. The improvements won’t be noticed yet, but as the Journal grows in size they will be. Other than that I’m in a bit of a bad mood today. Things are mucking up all over the place and I’m getting annoyed. Nothing exciting today so that

September 13 Update

Today I added two new areas to the site: I’ve also spent a lot of time recently working on University assignments. I currently have 4. 3 of those are due within the two weeks. Today we had to build LANs at University. Incredibly easy stuff, but it’s better than sitting through a boring lecture on HTML frames. I implemented a MySQL backend to the Journal. This makes it easier to maintain (I can enter entries in a web-based interface, whereas before I would have to edit offline and then ftp) and old entries can

September 8 Update

I spent the weekend at my mum’s house. Last night I went to the drive-in and seen “Mr Deeds” and “Men in Black 2”. “Mr Deeds” was funny, but it was typical Adam Sandler. “Men in Black 2” was watchable, but wasn’t my style of movie.

September 6 Update

There hasn’t been any exciting news this week. I ended up with a mark of 81% for the Systems Analysis and Design assignment I submitted on August 26th.

September 2 Update

Well, at last I’ve relaunched the site. There are still some sections incomplete that will be added over time, but I felt that overall the site was ready to launch.

September 1 Update

I’ve just spent the weekend at my best friends’ (Justin’s) house. As always it was fun and we got up to our usual antics – this time doing some electronics stuff.

Today I decided to go into Sydney for something to do. I took the digital camera and took quite a few photos (some of these have been placed into the photography section). The city was at its absolute best today. There was not a cloud in the sky and the temperature was just perfect.
