September 11 Update

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since the horrible events that changed the world on September 11, 2001.

I took some time out today to reflect. Not only on the attacks on 9/11 and to remember those that lost their lives; but also to reflect on other tragedies around the world where many people have lost their lives.

It’s times like these where we must realise that fate can change suddenly and without warning and that we must live our lives to the fullest.

I shall leave today’s journal entry there at 10:31pm AEST; 15 minutes before the first strike on the World Trade Center.
