Navigation Fixed

A few minutes ago I noticed a problem with the navigation on the site, the button “Publications” was linking to “/portfolio.php” on most pages in the site. Still Developing

Well, I’m still spending time developing the new Largenets site. A large portion of today was spent planning the RDBMS backend and CMS of the Largenets site. Everything is starting to shape together nicely so hopefully it won’t be too long before the new site gets launched.

Outage Today

A short outage took place early this evening on UNI01, the main shaunewing.com server to perform some software upgrades. This server hosts mail, images, journal, mrtg and the main site. I’ve been busy the past few days developing a new website for Largenets. Whilst I can’t go into specifics at the moment, I can say that this site will have an easy to use CMS (Content Management System) as well as a fully integrated customer area featuring billing, helpdesk, knowledge base and more on one login! DVD Collection Updated

I’ve updated my DVD Collection to include my most recently purchased DVDs – Legally Blonde, Minority Report, Enemy of the State and Passenger 57. I also noticed that two DVDs in my collection hadn’t been added – Miss Congeniality and The Matrix. These have now been added.

MRTG Graphs Improved

I’ve made some improvements to the scripting behind the MRTG Graphs. Previously my home server would automatically upload the MRTG graphs every 20 minutes, despite them being updated every 5 minutes to save on bandwidth.
