This Weekend

I spent this weekend at Justin’s house. We went and seen Final Destination (see previous journal post) and spent the remainder of the time doing our usual things together 🙂 I got some late birthday presents as well. I seen Final Destination 2 this evening with Justin. The movie wasn’t the best movie, but it was satisfactory and provided some release from the world for 90 minutes. Two Weeks Down

The first two weeks of University for the year have finished without a hitch. I have bought two books so far with two remaining. I’ll also have to pay my fees soon which will leave me nice and broke for a little while. Nothing much else has happened recently

Murphy’s law says “Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong” and it always prevails. Today as I was preparing my subject folders to go back to University the time came to print the Unit Outlines for my subjects (normally around 20 pages each). University Timetable Chosen

At 10:00am this morning, the University opened their “Platform Web” system so that students in IT courses could choose their timetable from the comfort of their own homes (or anywhere where there is a computer with Internet access). Haircut

I got my haircut today – an ordeal that one has to go through every few weeks 🙂 I also took back some books to the University that I had out for a few weeks. Other than that nothing has happened – same old boring life that I lead.

Losing My Virginity

I finished reading Richard Branson’s autobiography “Losing My Virginity” this week. I actually bought the book on board a Virgin Blue flight a few weeks ago and have been reading it when time permits. “Losing My Virginity” provides a fascinating and inspirational insight to the man that is Richard Branson. I’d recommend this book to anybody 🙂
