Carrier Checker Discontinued

In 2018 I launched the Carrier Checker. This tool allowed you to lookup a mobile number in Australia and determine the current carrier and the original carrier in cases where the number was ported.

The carrier checker was designed for casual usage. Unfortunately, due to a surge in automated requests to the API backend this tool has been discontinued permanently.

While I could implement rate limiting and other security measures I simply don’t have the time or inclination to do so for a tool that’s been provided free of charge for a number of years.

To the people who are sending hundreds of thousands of requests — you’re the reason we can’t have nice things.
