October 5 Update

It’s been a little while since I’ve had a journal entry as there has been nothing much to say.

I’m almost at the end of my holidays - Monday is a public holiday and I start back at University on Tuesday.

As for ADSL, I was all excited about it going on Friday as my line passed the tests, etc. The Telstra people went to my local exchange to hook me up and realised there are no ports left. I’m currently on the waiting list and I’ll be connected as soon as a port is available.

Currently I’m extremely disappointed, but at least I know that my line qualifies and it shouldn’t be too long before a port opens up.

Other than that there is no new news.
